So, there I was in a French department store, just casually browsing. I couldn’t help but notice that there was a rather lovely looking set of silk robes on the racks. I’m pretty sure I looked like the proverbial deer caught in the headlights, because the clerk noticed my curious glance, turned to the robe, and said “Oh, that’s one of our best sellers! They’re available in your size, and the silk robes for men red one is quite nice.” A little sigh of relief came from the bottom of my soul. I’d forgotten all about them.
The gentleman in the store pulled a couple out, and then tossed one of them over his arm to me. “It’s been used and abused by many a young man!” he said. “It’s still in great shape!”
I couldn’t wait to try it on! I slipped it on over my sweater, and took a deep breath. A sigh of relief came from the bottom of my soul as I felt the soft, smooth silk caress my skin. “Oh, I love this robe! It’s just the right weight, and the silk is so nice and soft!”
I ended up buying that silk robe and the matching robe. I love it! The only problem is that the silk is really scratchy. I guess it’s because the silk is very thin and it’s also not natural silk. It’s a synthetic silk thats blended with some other materials that are really synthetic.
As I was browsing the store a few weeks later, I came across some silk robes. I love the style of the ones that Denim & Supply offers, so I went back and bought a couple of them. These silk robes are silk robes for men more expensive, and they’re just as nice as the one I bought years ago.
The first thing that struck me about these robes was the weight. I was surprised at how heavy they were. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they’re woven from some of the finest silk available. I also liked the fit and the cut.
The material is woven in a flat pattern and then cut into a fitted robe. The robe has some nice detailing, including gold buttons. The most prominent feature is the silk lining.
